Oil Pressure?

I have an 05 magnum R/T with about 48.000 miles. It is mostly driven on the highway. Since I have the electronics package, by pushing down the two inside bottom controls on by steering wheel, I am able to read my oil pressure and a host of additional data.

At 650 RPM, I am showing about 15 to 16 lbs of oil pressure. at 2000 rpm, it go up to 49 lbs of pressure.

This seems VERY low. Does anyone know the spec for oil pressure? One dealer said 30 lbs at 650 RPM and 60 at 2000 RPM.

Always used 20 lbs per thousand RPM as safe.Is this right after an oil change?

Thanks for the response, I checked it about 1000 miles after the oil change. I change the oil every 3K, + or - 250 miles with Caster oil 5-20. I will check it @ 1000 rpm. I like your formula of 20 lbs/1000 RPM. I'm curious about the oil Pressure on your SRT8?
