Well, I am slowly making progress of the PW project.
Mechanically sound.
The body is in work.
I am looking for a part number for a sunroof seal/gasket.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help and support!!

If there's a leak in the sunroof, I'd pull the sunroof using the same method you use to remove a windshield. Then I'd trip on down to my local Truck/Car custom shop and get some generic sunroof seal. Usually when something like this is engineered the engineers will use as simple/generic/least expensive/off the shelf part they can find. It prevents reinventing the seal, producing a new non-sourced expensive part they'd have to stock and driving down profit.
My bet is that it's about a 90% chance that you could source the same type of seal locally for cheap. You may have to cut it to size, a little black silicone and you're done.

Hey SpeedDragon, paint goes on Friday 09/08.
The shop is Carolina Collision Center of Easley (Easley, SC).
My father is doing the body work and paint.
He says its going to PINK! I hope he is just joking.
I'll post pictures as soon as I can.
I have a grill coming from Harborautoparts.com. Should be here anytime now.
Updates will follow.
Thanks,

The sunroof is kind of a rare option. I believe they call it a Remove-A-Top made by Crown Auto Top as you mentioned to me in the email. I have seen numerous locations for Crown but you might be best to post your question at the forum @ www.sunroofs.org It appears that Crown Auto Top may still be in business but seems highly unlikely? Another site to check out is www.donmar.com
I'll look some more thru the industrial contacts and see if I can find any more info. Here is the parts breakdown and part numbers.
Also if the seal is real bad you may try to locate a used sunroof assembly and see if the seal is in any better shape?

I fixed mine the redneck way and put RTV around the top. I can't open it, but it hasn't leaked in 10 years.

Hahaha! There ya go! American Ingenuity at it's finest! :D
I wonder if some of that real thin sticky-back foam rubber weather-stripping stuff wouldn't do the trick?

The paint is on. They had some Toyota Silver left over and thats what she is.
The spray in bed liner goes un Monday and I may have them talked into spraying the rocker panels also.
Thanks for all the info.

I paid $200.00 for the truck and actually drove it home 8 miles.
My Pop did the body work. He's 68yrs old and donated in inexperience and a friend with an awesome shop donated some leftover materials and some welding labor.
So there ya go. I've gone from a $200 rolling wreck to what I have now.

You do what you can when you can. That is a fine looking truck you have there, and it's only going to get better.

Lookin good JAK77!!!!....Lookin Good!!!!
But I have to agree with bherder...You did an awesome job "preping" the Wagon..
Even if the labor was free....a SMALL investment would of made her perfect!!!
Check it out!!!!....Only $70.00!!!

Don't get me wrong....The truck is awesome...& I give you guys "MAD" props for even attepting to restore her (Its not everyday you see one of Our old Power Wagons going down the road...Even more rare is a restored Power Wagon)...All I'm saying is ...You went that far.....a little more wouldn't of "stung" that bad!!!..Esp. when you only have $250.00 invested
But Hell thats just my opinion....And like I said before shes Lookin pretty damn good....Not bad at ALL!!!!

Oaky guys.
The story on this truck goes like this.
The Franklin County Sheriffs Dept. confiscated the truck after busting some Pot growers up near Murphy, NC (mountains).
The truck was painted SeaFoam Green to match the NC Dept of Nat. Res. (Criminal Camoflage). It did'nt work as they got caught.
A man in Franklin bought the truck and drove it for several years, parked it, and it sat in the weather for 2.5 years. The man gave it to his son inlaw here in SC.
The truck needed more work than he wanted to do.
For $200.00, I could'nt pass it up.
My Father decided he would paint it with the help of his buddy with the awesome shop.
Now I have what looks alot like 75 PowerWagon's truck.
The silver was left over Toyota Silver from another job. The bedliner on the rockers helps to hide imperfections and gives it the rugged look.
I'll try to get some pics uploaded later today.
This has been real fun.
Next will be the interior and dash.
My guages, lights, and wipers are inop. We'll get together on those later.
One question. Does anyone know what bench or bucket seat fit in her?
Thanks for the help and commaraderie.
