Know what troops-I fell like I' the most STUPID person on this forum :stupid: or just plain DUMB :( or both!!
Just went out and bought new seat covers for the front seats-paid about $60 for them, which is ok, cause I wanted a good pair to last and hold up. Now I know how normal head rest's come off-push the button, and wha-la off they come, however, when I tried on the 06 Dakota there was no WHA-LA!! I have tried everything and I'm no slouch when it comes to strenght or weight (and we won't dicuss the weight part), but I can't get those suckers to BUDGE!!
I called a couple of dealers and 1 told me I need to pull harder, whicH I did, and if that didn't work take it to the service dept. The other said that they DIDN'T come off the Dakota's that they were stationary, and would only come up so far and STOP, which they do. Does this mean that I have got to live with the distastful blah gray color that come's with the truck  and we owners for the 06 Dakota Club Cabs can't put any protection cover on their seats?
Has anyone of this forum run into the same problem, or is it just me?? Does anyone know what can be done to get those suckers off short of destroying the seats--it's driving me  !! Really need some ideas, help, thoughts, and or suggestions that ANYONE might have out there to help get these blasted thngs off my SEATS!!
Sorry to brother everyone out there, but this truck has sure been a challange to my patience which is quickly wearing very THIN :grum: Ok, I end this mess now, and thank you all in advance for all YOUR patience answering and trying to explain my problems.
Have a super holiday folks and everyone be careful out there ;)
