Hello,
Have had my Charger for about a month now. Live in Kansas City, so for about the last month has been 90 - 100+ degrees and I have come across a problem. The air conditioner blows plenty of air. however it never seems to get the air very cold. I have tried regular and what I call "max" when it pulls in the air from within the cabin. I have had a number of people comment on it and am thinking about taking it back to the dealer and have them take a look into it. The people that first discovered it are the rear seat passengers who do not get any cold air back there. The vents put out air but is luke warm at best.

Does nay have any thoughts or advice for me on this?

Thanks
Jeff

What I did when it was 105-115 last month was, in auto set it for 74 on both sides. All windows down half way for about ten minutes then close them but leave the sun roof on vent. At that point I would get cool air, but it never shut off full power, fan wise speaking. You could still feel the heat soaking through the windows and I have limo tint around the back and 20% up front. If you're not getting cold air you may need to have it recharged. Hope this helps and stay cool my friend.

I just bought a Charger SE 2 weeks ago and I am having the exact same problem. My front vents blow cold air fine, but the back vents only blow hot air. I have contacted my local dealer, but they are not getting back to me :VHOT: . If I don't hear back by tomorrow I am going to show up at the service department pissed. Once I find out what the problem is I will let you know. If any one else knows what the deal is please give me a shout out.

There is a service bulletin for that
Some type of switch they need to install
In the compressor or somthing.contact dealer.

Three of our seven Chargers came in with under charged air conditioners. We took them back to the Dealer to get recharged.
