What I am doing Wrong (Brakes) GC 2004

Hello,

I have replace my brake my self. (Rotor and Pads)
My pard are from a local car shop here (Gatineau, Qc)
Pads KingDom Autoparts Premium Semi-Metallic
And the rotor
Quality Automotive Products QAP
53002 Brake Rotor Wagner Bendix 145308

My problem is: They Squealing a lot...
I have blow air through it (Slotted Desing)
and they still Squealing like hell.

When I have remove my rotor I have remove the little
Keep ring and with a hammer they loosen up and
before putting the new rotor I have paint the hub
with Anti-Seize compound and the stud. For easy
remove next time.

I have clean my rotor with brake cleaner and they
still squealing.

Please Help Me ! :help:

Semi-metallic disc brakes are made of bits of metal shavings in place of the asbestos material that has been banned by the U.S. & Canadian governments. These semi-metallic brakes have great stopping power and have a long wear life, but can cause a high-pitched squeal that drives people crazy. I know i had them on my caravan for all of 3 weeks and i went back to normal pads because of the squealing noise.

The only way to get rid of the noise is to use generic "non metalic" brake pads, they don't last as long but there quiet.

Thanks Chet42 I will go check my local shop for what they have instead ... The sound will make me crazy !!!
The sound will come after the pad & rotor have heat up.
