I need some help. My air conditioner in my 96 GC is not working. The fan was seized, so I replaced the whole shroud(dual fan assembly) Now the air still wont work. Just hot air blows out. I did the test where you hold down the rear window wipers and the one other button.It passed this test successfully. I then tried the "cooldown test", it failed this. Where do I start looking for trouble? I called Chrysler and they said my vehicle is definitely r134a made,so if I need a recharge..I can do it myself. Also, when I press the air conditioner button with the blower on..the fan does NOT kick in immediately.
What other areas can I look to for an answer?
