I decided to drain and replace my coolant. Upon locating the radiator drain petcock, I managed to turn it counter-clockwise until the coolant started to drain...about two turns. After it finished draining I I tightened the petcock as best I could..Pliars in hand. I refilled the radiator and now I have a drip..drip from the petcock! I have tightened the thing as best I can..
Any suggestions...thanks.

It's common to have the radiator drain plug (petcock) get stripped after it is removed. After all, it's just plastic. I would get a new one, usually sell for $3.00 or so at any parts store. Any time I do any work on my cooling system that involves draining coolant, I always buy the new petcock... just in case.

A lot of times when you do this you have to replace the petcock assembly. Go to the dealer and get a new one.
