Looking to buy a hood for a 2000 intrepid

I brought my 2000 Dodge Intrepid by Maaco to get an estimated price to paint the whole car black and i was told that i need to find a new hood for it because of the rust growing under the hood would eventually effect the new paint job sooner or later. If anyone can hook me up somehow for a good priced hood off a wrecked car or whatever i would appreiate it very much.

is the hood steel??? Because I think on the LHS and the Concorde, the hoods are aluminum.

if you're buying a new hood and getting it painted anyway, why not upgrade to a hood with scoops? just do a search, i'm sure there are plenty out there. a lot of people don't do this because they don't want to have to paint them too, but you are already doing that. or what about a carbon fiber hood? you don't paint them at all
