I have a 2006 Charger with the V-6 ( I know gas mileage and all) when i idle sometimes the whole vehicle shakes like the engine is going to die. The dealer has looked at it and is blaming it on the air conditioning. They also said that the vehicle is running the way it is supposed to be. HAHA!! Any Ideas? Please let me know!!!THANKS!!! :help:

yea I have seent hat happen in other types of cars. I have a chev colorado for work that is company funished and it does it all the time . and that is normal iti sa little lag between the compresser kicking on and the engine cominsating for the HP drain if you ever notice when the compresser comes on the engine RPMs go down a little for a second.

My first charger was a V-6 and it did the same thing. It would idle really rough and when the air or heater comperssor kicked on it would take the idle down about 400 rpms and it felt like it was going to stall. I took it to the dealership 5 times and finally got pissed and had it lemon lawed. Now I have a R/T. The new car shakes alittle bit but not that noticable really. I think its a design flaw in the mounting of the engine.

have an 02 intrepid with same engine 3.5 v-6 it does the same thing!
