Does anyone know what kit we need to buy in order to clean the air filter for the Mopar CAI? I've noticed my filter getting dirty and I would like to keep it sucking as much air as possible. The dealership useless was once again... This seems to be my best place for information.. I thought the filter would show the name of the manufacturer or the installation instructions list the name or part number for the cleaning kit but it doesn't... So, if someone has a name or part number, greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I looked around but didn't see anything direct from Mopar. I believe their going to call this a "Charge Kit" it should come w/cleaner and oil spray.
Possibly a K&N charge kit would work just as well.

the dealer here has a Mopar charge kit on the shelf last I looked. but I would assume that they are all pretty much the same .

I agree, for the best part their the same, but I bet they will not agree. I could hear them saying theirs contins the very "special "additive X. All the kit contains is a cleaner and some oil.

I just ordered it from Mopar Supercenter.. I gave the part number to my local dealers and they said they couldn't get it... Unreal...
P/N is P5153376
Thanks for the replies....

I've had the same problem with Dodge Parts....And I,m getting pretty pissed with them. They sell us a great car and can't back it up with intelligent support. On the other hand Ford really gets into the Mustang parts and performance goodies. We can't even get the performance codes from Dodge. Anyway the K&N charger kit works well. Just follow the directions...A BIG mistake is to OVER OIL the filter after it is cleaned.Hope this helps....
