im looking to put in satellite radio in the wifes srt-4 . anyone know to install it? i mean can it be done without going to an installer??? if so how hard is it?

It will depend on what type of system you put in. I have just installed the "starmate replay" in my SRT-4. I chose it so that I could also hook it up to my home system. The install is fairly easy, the hardest part was routing the antenna wiring.
If you are going to go with a new head unit I would get it installed at a car audio shop, they will do a much better job and will save you allot of hassle.
On a side note I love my sirius, it is all I listen to now.
