I have a 1996 Neon and am looking for replacement speakers for the front. I have already replaced the rear deck and door speakers, but every place I have shopped, the speakers they want to sell me are too big for the hole inside the dash. Do I have to cut the area out? The original magnet is around 1 1/2" or 2" and the ones they are trying to sell me for replacements are around 3" with the circuit board sticking out an additional 1/4".
Any suggestions???? :help:

I havent found speakers to fit the dash either. I've decided when i redo my stereo system I am just going to unhook the dash tweeters. I plan to run 4-way Sony Xplode in the back and 3-way Sony Xplodes in the doors. I doubt you'll even need the dash speakers if you get door speakers with built in tweeters.

lol JL audio... um check ebay i guess we have a JL audio outlet here so idk how to explain it, ur telling me u never heard of the JL W7 its like rated the 2nd best sub in the world lol next to the MTX jack hammer ( well atleast it was like 1-2 years ago) ****ers hit hard! they also cost $800 for the sub and $1000 for the only amp that can push it!
