i was driving home on the freeway and the check engine lite came on well when i got home i checked the code and it was a 43 and if anyone can help me on how to fix it i would apprichate it

Go to autozone and have them hook it up on the scanner. Code 43 is a multiple cyl missfire. Once it's scanned by the guy at Autozone it should tell you what is going on.
You may need plugs or wires. Once you find out what the problem is and fix it you can Pull the Battery cables and clear the PCM of the code. Some people say the Fuel pump relay will reset it too but it never worked for me.
Sometimes bad gas will cause that missfire code too. Good luck.

Not the fuel pump relay, the fuel pump fuse. Come to think of it, I've never actually tried pulling just the fuse, I always pull the relay and the fuse (its a 20amp). I do know just pulling the relay wont do it though, I tried that the first time too... LOL. Pulling the fuel pump fuse and the relay for about 2-3 minutes will reset the PCM.
