Damn it got quiet in this forum!!!

Well its mod time again! Got my AGP motor and trans mounts today, and put them on after work.

I was looking forward to a smooth install after Ninjas review, and it wasn't really difficult, but I hit some snags. Biggest was the damn tranny mount! I used Ninjas pics as a guide, and that was great. But I was under the impression you could get the mount out after that. I'm not sure if Ninja was able to or what the usual procedure is I guess I should have looked it up, but after much sweat I realized there was no hope and ended up pulling out the battery and its tray which made it a breeze.

I was expecting noise and vibration, but I guess really didn't know fully what to expect. When I first started it up I was in shock... I had a feeling like maybe this was a mistake LOL! Then I backed out the garage and took off, with plenty of new noises to greet me. Once the car fully warms up it's a bit better. I was slightly in shock like this when I put in the motor mount inserts so I hope like those I will get used to it all.

I guess it's actually not so bad. It's definitely a big change but it's a very solid feeling you get in return. I need to drive it some more to check it out.

Wheel hop, well, I was still able to induce some in first gear. This may change a little with new wider tires, my tires are almost trash. It's very solid though otherwise, and first gear is still greatly improved. You can feel the power going to the road. Now it's just time to get some traction!

Comming up next... Complete Prothane suspension bushing kit.

First I have to say I redid the tranny mount this afternoon - because I forgot a bolt on the battery tray which is part of where the mount mounts to so it bothered me enough to where I had to put it in. This involves completely taking out the battery and unbolting the tranny mount lol so it pretty much sucked.

BUT... WOW there is dramatically less noise and vibration now... I'm not sure exactly why but it's much better than it was yesterday.

That being said, compared to stock it's great... It makes driving the car slightly less relaxed because of the extra vibration and noise. I mean you hear and feel the engine a ton. I don't really mind it much. I went out and dropped the clutch at 3000, something that I couldn't do before without feeling like the engine was going to fly out and there was zero hop and I just left two long black lines lol. 1st gear feels much stronger now, aswell as second if I can get traction. It's kind of hard to put into words but it's just a solid feeling.
