The Superchips Flashpaq is the best thing you can do to improve your car.
What is your build date? It is on the sticker label inside your drivers door.
I ask because early built cars may have a problem with the Flashpaq, you may even need to have your dealer update your engine and trans with the latest updates to get the most out of the Flashpaq. Is your car a Magnum, 300C or Charger? Some Chargers may also have a problem.
Best bet is to contact Superchips with your build date and see if the Flashpaq will work for you.
I have an 05' Magnum RT built 04/04 and had problems with the Flashpaq. I am lucky that I live close to Superchips in Florida, they used my car for a test vehicle. In return I had all the updates done, my car now runs great, is faster, shifts better and gets great gas mileage.
A happy Flashpaq user,

Bob,
To get the great gas mileage - what settings did you choose and what octane also...
Thanks

I have an older mangum RT and a Flashpaq. I get an error when trying to modify my transmission settings and by looking at the superchips web site it looks like I need to go to the dealer to update the stock program. It just feels really odd to go to him and just ask him to do that...I am sure they will ask questions as to why I need to do that and they may even think that I am wanting to do something to the car (which I am doing)...So..Is it normal to ask the dealer to update the car? Can they give me trouble for that? Am I going to loose my warranty if they flash the car computer and realize that I am modifying it on my own?
Thanks

First to RCMOB, most dealers are reluctant to update your computer, some guys have even offered to pay the dealer and some still refuse to do it. This will show you if you have a good dealer or not. I was lucky that Superchips did all my updates for free.
Second to Mark, I am running 91 octane setting, I am more interested in power. Also use the higher shift point (6,000 RPM), paddle shift, reduced torque management. I left the car the way I got it back from Superchips, not really sure what settings they used. All I know is that the car runs great, is faster and gets about 2 MPG better mileage.
On the way home from Superchips I was checking my gas mileage, using the digital readout on my dash. At 55 MPH, no A/C on, using cruise control, I got 30.4 MPG !!
How cool is that! In normal driving, I get anywhere from 19-27 MPG. I am in Florida and it is hot and humid now, my A/C is on all the time....still get at least 18 MPG around town.
All-in-all, I am loving my Superchips Flashpaq!

Is there any other way to get those files and install them?
