Hey, I just took delivery of the Daytona style front spoiler for my R/T. Purchased it from AUTOTRUCKTOYS. I need to know if any of you put one on, and if there are any :gr_patrio tricks to installation...Looks pretty straight forward. It came with the pop rivets and I already have a rivet gun...Any ideas???

Just measure a few times and make sure that it is centered and not to low and drill away.
As for tricks... have a friend help you hold it up and it should go easy.

Hey I just put a chin spoiler on my 06 Road & Track. It came with the plastic pop rivets as you listed. The only problem is that a standard pop rivet gun will not pull that size of pop rivet. I found this out the hard after drilling my first hole. To make a long story short I ended up going to home depot and ended through bolting it on with large washers on each side. You will have to take off all the lower pan ground effects to do this though. when I mounted I used two sided tape so i would not have problems when it came to drilling the holes, once tape was installed it stayed in place by itself so i could drill. Hope this helps :gr_patrio

Put mine on in exactly the same way. The plastic rivets suck and so did the rivet gun. I used plastic nuts/bolts and they worked out fine. The two sided tape was a real time saver. I was anxious to get it on and did'nt want to wait for an xtra set of hands. It was a good project that took about 1 1/2 hrs.

I used 6 stainless steel bolts 12 stainless washers and 6 stainless nylocks. Didn`t think of double sided tape , that`s a good tip.
I didn`t use all the holes and seems to be holding up good so far, been on a couple months
