Well, I'm new to this site so it I posted his in the wrong place be forgive me. I have just bought a 1995 Stratus and was trying to come up with ways to make it stand out. One of the crazy ideas I came up with was to make it rear wheel drive. The more I thought about it the crazier the ideas got. I then begin to wonder if a V8 swap would be possible.
Those two ideas are why I write these message. I was wanting to know if it would be in any way possible to put a V8 (maybe a Hemi, that would be cool) into a Stratus?
Info or comments would help.
thx,
Lennon

I have one other thing I wanted to add to my last comment. I know that my idea sounds like I'm just running off at the mouth. Well, what I'm trying to say is that I'm serious about this, i know that it would evolve a huge amount of mods to everything from the frame to moving the fire wall back...I also know that there will be a huge amount to suspension work needed to be done. I was wanting to know if people out there would think it was worth wild to spend that kind of money to stand out in the crowd.
Thx,
Lennon

A V8 in a stratus??? That'd be awesome, but man we have very very little room in there! I see you mentioned you're willing to move firewall and stuff. There is also weight ratio but I noticed you mentioned that. But dude... just my opinion... don't do it to the Stratus. It'd be awesome, but I don't think it's worth the time, stress, money, and effort. I've heard many people who modded their stratus and said it wasn't worth it, just should have gotten a different vehicle. I would just buy a V8, it wouldn't stand out as much, but you could put that money that you would have used to do the swap to the stratus and add some major appearance stuff. If you did do it you'd be a stratus GOD, but on the other side, talk about a pain in the ass, back, and wallet. But that's just me :pimp:
