I was at the dealer ship today routine oil change and rotation of tires. While there I saw the ad for this PurigeN98, the service advisior said it was so much better for the tires then air and at 39.00 for all four tires not to bad price wise. Has anyone else looked into this or switched over to it?

The air we breathe is mostly Nitrogen already, why waste your money?

Just keep your tires inflated properly.

The only advantage would be a more consistant pressure. Not really worth it for a street driven vehicle.Like FloridaRT has already said just check your tires regularly.

It's also innert and doesn't promote rotting of the rubber in the tire, but since the outside of the tire is still in contact with regular air it only helps the inside. Besides, when's the last time you had a tire dry rot before you wore it out on a vehicle you drive normally?
I saw a Q&A somewhere with this question and the basic reply was: if they'll include it for free fine, but it's not worth spending extra money on unless maybe you live somewhwere with wild temperature fluctuations over short periods of time because as Hemi 31 said it doesn't fluctuate as much with temp.
