Ok guys, i just found out my moonroof is leaking the other day. I traced the leak from the pass. side footwell (where there was standing water, not to mention stinky carpet) under the sill plate, under the door's weatherstripping, up the underside of the weatherstripping to the top of the A-pillar and then up above the headliner, where it appears to be leaking around the seal on the front and pass. side front corner. I called the dodge dealer for a new seal, but they're telling me the seal is part of the glass (which it is, i checked) and the whole unit costs $250+ (for the glass + seal). after getting over the price shock i checked the seal, and it really isnt bad at all, and is slightly worn all the way around (like normal), and doesnt seem to be excessively worn where it is leaking. If it is part of the glass you would think it was meant to last the life of the glass... This leads me to think that the glass is out of alignment. It seems to sit farther forward than it should, and the front doesnt seem to seat down all the way. This doesnt seem normal. Can someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell my how to properly align the glass? ITS RAINING!!! and i'm sick of vacuuming my carpet! LOL Please help!!!!!!

Update. the moonroof wasnt misaligned, in fact it was sealing to the car fine. The problem was the seal attached to the glass had separated fromt he glass slightly in the front corners, where water pools. Instead of spending the obnoxious amount of money they want for a new glass panal (seal and glass are 1 unit), i just lifted the edges and filled the separated section with 3M weatherstip adhesive. not the prettiest thing in the world, but its working wonderfully so far, and its really not that ugly. I also tried fixing the broken slider clip so i can actually use the moonroof. It wouldve worked wonderfully (how to found on neons.org under archived threads), but the slider was already cracked, and you know how cracks spread in plastic. I didnt think it would hold, but i gave it a go anyway. At least i know how to do it now, lol. Ahh well, off to the dodge dealer to buy a $125 slider this week.... :VHOT:

Most problems dealing with sunroofs root to the freezing of water then opening the sunroof tearing away at the seal. At least aroun here, I'm in Ohio. They do sell a protector gel for the winter time. Hope this helps someone on here if they go though winter time and dont know of the gel.
Sorry to hear of the leak, I have similar isues with a 02 durango. The front windsheild and rear glass weatherstripping comes off the glass at the same times. This will be the third time I went to the dealer to have them fix this.

Thanks for the heads up. I live in WI, so i do go through winter, but I dont plan to open the moonroof during the winter... LOL. The 3M adhesive seems to be working wonderfully. There are a few pinholes i missed that i may have to cover, but other than that, this is one of the simpliest fixes i've run into LOL. I guess i just overreacted when i found darn near an inch of standing water in my passenger side footwell...
