But several things come to my mind...maybe our car was built on a Monday or on a Friday...perhaps?
Below are my minor gripes...
(1) Paint job within the Hemi's engine compartment, shoddy, at best...guess that is why "Touch-Up" spray paint is made, at a price...
(2) Bad design as far as the bottom door sills are concerned...after a good rain, a bunch of dirt/water spotting needing constant maintenance...i.e., wiping away said crap with duty towels...
(3) Inner trunk-locking mechanism constantly whacking my grape when said trunk lid is open (I know, I should have learned by now...but at 55 y/o, I am kinda forgetful at times) :) But even the grocery folks that load our weekly grocery bags into said trunk have also whacked their grapes after our commissary run, too...so it ain't just me! :)
Anybody else have a minor gripe about theirs?
;)

I've owned two already. First one had to be lemoned, (its in another post). But my new one does a few things the old one did.
1) It kicks alittle when down shifting. Accelerate quickly and then hit the brakes like someone pilled out in front of you a little ways up, don't need to slam on them. As the car goes from 2nd to 1st it'll kick. Though it was only the first car I had but this new one does it as well.
2) Now this one doesn't really bother since every Dodge I have owned has done this. But they have a rough idle. Just sit in your car and let it idle for few mins. Mine tends to shake the car every so often.
3) Road noise. Just wish it was alittle quieter inside.
Now that I have said my gripes, and even though they are there, I'll still say:
I LOVE MY CHARGER!!!

I haven't had any problems (knock on wood :whackit: ).
But there are some things which simply could be better:
(1) SIGHTLINES I'm finding it difficult to be certain just where the car is when backing-up! You just can't see enough! I end up getting out, looking, gettin-in, getting out. I hope that I get better once I get more accustomed to the car. Hell,....only have 2400 miles on it (three weeks!).
(2) I would like an "open all windows"-feature. My BMW had this nice convenience: hold down the "open door" on the key fob --- all the windows and the sunroof open up! Nice feature on a hot day sitting in the sun! Gets all that nasty trapped air out before you get in.
(3) I wish it were easier to set the audio controls on the "REC"-type radio (navigation system). Got to drill down pretty deep to adjust bass etc.
(4) I would like some low-level "red lighting" in the car at night. Again, the BMW had this feature...it does help.

OBSERVATIONS:
I'm noticing a shift-like oddity under these conditions: going down an incline or coasting (not using any gas) -- when you give some gas, the rpms go up but very soon afterwards it feels like the car is shifting into a higher gear, then back into a "power" gear. Doesn't last a long time, but it is notceable. Could this be a part of the 4~8 cylinder switch?

the biggest problem is that i cant afford one. I was able to drive one for the day when i went looking at them and was actually really impressed w/ it. i didnt even find anything that i disliked about the car. other than it was not the color that i liked but that was not an issue i was just given that one to test drive.

Love my '06 road and track with the US ARMY RECON licence plate.
My wife says she took 2nd place to the Charger when we bought a year ago,but she was wrong, the dog and the car are tied for first, then comes football, etc. I know she's in the top ten or so.
I wish the climate control was more subtle, when used in my old sable you hardly knew it was on. Why wasn't the clock put on the dash instead of the radio station and compass? Why is the headrest only up/down adjustable?
Why don't other Charger owners want to race? Why do VW owners want to race? Why did Dodge make a Charger rt and a Charger R/T? Can I get a Prius in my trunk?
Hey Top Banana , I had the same problem with sight lines but got used to it.
