I have a 99 GC AWD w/load leveling shocks. Dodge price 444.00 ea. to replace. Are there any options?

You can also get them at Autozone for $229 a piece , not cheap but a lot cheaper than the dealer. How many miles did you get out of them ? Have them on our 2004 T&C and I'm just wondering how long they will last . If you have looked at them they are huge , look like they belong on a 1/2 ton pickup.

On some sites, they say that you can use a standard shock to replace the load levelers. They cost around 20.00 ea. They state that if the shock contacts the spring, rotate the suspension. What do they mean?
