Ever since we purchaced our 2005 GC 2 years ago the right power sliding door acts up some times. It will start to shut and go about 1 foot before it closes, and then re-opens like something got stuck. It would do it at random not very often, so don't think much of it. Well last night it did the same thing when we got home from dinner. Then in the morning we opened the door and it opened about a foot and stopped. So I closed it and tried again, same thing 1 foot. Then tried once more, and it opened all the way. When it shuts it comes to the 1 foot mark and quits. What with the 1 foot mark? There is nothing in the way, or binding. I have been checking it out at my job since I do autobody and cannot find the reason. So I made an apointment with the dealership under warrenty since the motor is list of $300 and not sure if that will cure it. Has anyone else had this problem of know whats going on so I have a heads up at the dealer? ;)
