RE: 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE, 3.3, 108,000+ miles
After church this morning, I started her up and had no A/C, no radio, no power windows, no windshield wipers. The airbag and ABS idiot lights were on. Horn, power locks, and interior lights worked. Didn't check headlights nor taillights. All other gauges worked (speedo, tach, temp and fuel gauges, digital odometer). Drove it home anyways. Ran great but it sure was hot!!
Once home, I checked the mini-fuses under the driver side dash. All were oK and I just pushed them all in to make sure they were tight. Was getting ready to check the big fuse box whatchamacallit under the hood (next to battery) when I heard a distinct clicking noise similar to the circuit breaker tripping in my home. Started her up and everything works and no idiot lights shining.
So should I thank my lucky stars and forget about it or is my Body Control Module starting to go out again? I had it replaced over 3 years ago when my starter, wipers, door locks, and alarm went goofy. Or perhaps it is something else?
