Attempting to help daughters friend with a 96 Dodge Intrepid, does not have much money and can not afford to get the real mechanics. Have replaced the Map Sensor, Check enging light keeps comming on and going off. thought it might be O2 sensor but this other code came up and it is a dealer code at least that is what they told me at Auto Zone. This is a 3.5, 24 valve. Thanks for any help you can give.

You'll have to get the Hanes or Chilton manuals to decifer that code :(
Try this, get in the car
Turn the key to the "on" position (not start position)
Turn the key back to "off"
Turn "on"
Turn "off"
Turn "on"
Turn "off"
Turn "on"
Now the check engine light will flash in a series, for example flash twice, pause, flash three times pause, that means it's Code 23
When all the codes are given out it will end in Code 55, five flashes, pause, five flashes.
Give me the codes you get and I'll tell you what they mean

I looked up that code and it says: Target RPM not achieved during drive idle condition. It could be a vacum leak or IAC lost steps.

I have a code 12 and the 94-3.5L just dies when driving every so often and then once restarted the car may run fine for a few days or so and then again. So the only code that I can pull-off is a 12 and a 55. I would also like to know were the "cam and crank sensors" are located on the engine
