Rim upgrade to 17x7,5"

I'm thinking about updating my rims to 17x7,5" size. The offset value will be ET=42mm. I haven't decided yet the tire size. It will be 235/55R17 or 225/55R17. Do you think they will fit without problems hitting the car chassis in the inner fenders? I had 255/55R16 tires with ET=40mm offset rims and they hit slightly the car chassis when the wheels were turned at maximum left of right.

Any comments on American Platinum tires? The other options are Hankook, Pirelli or Millennium.

Those should fit without any clearance problems whatsoever. I have 18X8" (ET=34mm) wheels with 235/50R18s on my 2000 and they don't touch anything...
