Dont know if anyone would be interested, but on my way to town today, went past a local garage, seen a D100 (85 or 86?) on a trailer, was totaled, a roll over job.....I stopped, and asked about buying the rear.
Owner came out, we looked at it, said its mine for $80.00, drum to drum. He said the guy who wrecked it told him it had a posi, which will be a plus.
Looking furthur, It was a slant six, with a floor shift, probably a 4 sp. Supposed to have a new clutch in it too....I looked at the motor, block was a different paint, looks like a recent rebuild.....
The truck has been in his junk yard for sev. yrs, hes cleaning some stuff out. After talking to him, I convinced him to pull the motor and tranny, told him they are getting kinda scarce, he agreed.
This is in North central WV, easy driving time from points in s.Pa, ohio, maybe 2 hrs from w. MD.......
