A great how-to for you folks who don't want to go big turbo but want to get huge power from your stock turbo - by AGP:

http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27550

You can obviously juice the system even more with quality injectors/pump, water injection, etc. Turn the turbo up even more. The guys in CSC (Chicagoland SRT Club) prefer using the DTEC from TurboXS - they say it's the best fuel/boost controller on the market and you can play video games on it to boot!

A little proof (this is perfect for the street!):

A little more proof:

Very good numbers for the mods! With some suspension work, solid mounts, and a few bucks here and there you could be virtually untouchable by 99% of doods on the streets. This would be perfect for you guys like me who are more into the real-world driving experience where you're not on slicks and you want to put the most power to the ground without giving up traction as you would from a big-turbo. I'm still deciding on what I want to do. Real-world or track. I think real-world is more fun.

Yeah a lot of people try this setup. This is actually the first time I've read the mod list for it. I personally like the PCM controlling the boost, otherwise I would probably try it out myself. Good links. Making power is definitely not limited to stage kits.

I think I'm going to try a similar setup - but not so limited to what I'll be using. AGP WGA for sure, DTEC Fuel/Boost Controller (12 a/f @ 20 PSI), Stage II Injectors, FMIC, IC Hard Pipes, 60mm TB, Ported Intake, W/I Kit, MPx 3" Turboback with Hi-Flow Cat, ?Eibach Springs?, Progress Front/Rear Sways, 225/50/17 Street Sneakers.

ETC.

This should yield some good numbers when properly tuned.

Should be good! I'm looking into W/I as a part of my future setup

Wow...makes me really wonder how much power I'm running, I have about almost equal the mods they have. I got to get dyno'd.

You should be damned close if not already there with your list. I'm still not sure exactly what #'s may be cuz I'm still green to the SRT-4's. But now I'm considering my tuning options. Setups on S-0 have to be tuned via a FC (obviously) but unless you drop 2k on an engine management system, they need to be re-tuned for the weather. And I want to keep my car as turn-key as possible. So I may go with a S-2 for my base and throw a list very similar to yours Elchicoyes. Except I'll obviously be faster... cuz mine's black. BLACKETY BLACK BLACK BLACK! :D

Yeah, it took me 2 years to get that list. I'm almost done though.

Oh, Didn't anyone tell you? Blue is aerodynamic and adds an extra like 25 whp for good looks. It's ok...if you want I have a shoulder for you to weap on...

What color is the 10 second car? Need I say more :D

Well, you see this is what happened. It used to be blue, but it was so fast that the color came off so he decided to paint it black. Much to his dismay the car was slower just slightly afterwards.

I'm just messin'. Black is a... cute color. But I guess we all have our tastes. :gr_patrio :D

If your shooting for 20psi don't forget fuel return system as a mod.... You'll be pulling timing. Sucks that our cars came with a returnless system...

So yeah, I'd thought I'd face the music and let you all know. I had my car dyno'd the other day...it was horrible. I lost hp rather then gain. Well, to start my clutch is pretty much toast and I'm running a little rich. My numbers were about 221-229 whp to 255 trq...what a mess. The guy was telling me that if I fix my clutch (I was able to smell that thing on third gear) and a/f I might see another 20 added to those numbers.

So I guess I'm putting my coilovers off to the side for now. What's a good inexpensive clutch I can buy that can handle some hp and trq?

Oh and reference to the a/f, I take it since I was running 11, (which is border line rich) will getting a larger TB help without getting an A/F controller? If so ill be able to kill two birds with one stone...besides I'm not looking forward to working on wires again. :WHT:

What's your boost?

A believe a TB will lean it up a bit

The PCM should compensate for the bigger TB, adding fuel... should being the keyword, and you never know how much. :D But as long as you plan on getting a bigger TB, try it out and see what happens.
