Hello,
Great site! I joined for my '01 1500, might be looking for a '07 2500 but that question will be later.
Anybody know anything about the axles that would be under 1981 1 ton 4x4 dual rear might be dually, might be chassis cab???
The owner has told me this:
cab chassis truck because the rear is narrow and the guy he bought it from said it always had a flatbed on it !!!???(w350 or maybe w450???)

dana 70 rear

1. What would the wheel mounting surface be on the front and rear. 2. What would wms-wms be if this was a dually with a box and someone put a flatbed on it?
This is a parts truck, in it's past the frame was stretched 3'. The body is shot and the tranny has no reverse.
This is all I know! I hate to drive 3 hrs away for something that is not even remotely what I'm looking for!
