How did the tranny go out????? Did it slip or anything before this? Or did it just not work one day? Did you check your fluid level yet in the tranny since they done the service on it? What type of fluid did they use? Alot of Dodge's are messed up by people putting in the wrong fluid in the ATX's.
Is there a Relay that tells the PCM when to shift in an ATX? ANYBODY? lol
If so it could be it. LOL.....If I were you Id gather up my Proof of Purchace Then I would march my ass down to that garage and find out what they did. provided it didn't have no trouble b4. If in fact you can prove they screwed it up You might be able to get a new tanny on their Account!!!!!! SWEET! lol Good luck with it. hope one of us Neon freaks can help you out. Later

Had my '95 do the same thing. There is a passing gear cable from the intake throttle body to the top of the trans shift lever. The lever on top of the trans was rusted up and sticking. It should move freely. Sprayed some WD-40 on it and worked it back and forth, worked great after that. It was stuck in passing gear or thinking it was at WOT. It's below the battery.

U only need 2 tools.
1 - WD 40
2 - Gaffer tape
If u want it to move use wd 40. If u don't want it to move use gaffer tape! lol

Unless you live in West Virginia and are a Coal miner! The only thing they need in a tool box is a spool of wire and a roll of electrical tape.LOL

This is why I like Manual Transmissions.... The only time I had troubles with the tranny shifting was when i burned my right hand on a hot weld the day before, LOL.
I really dont know anything about the ATX's, otherwise I'd tell ya! LOL, hope you figure it out.
