I'm considering buying a used SRT-4. Are there things I should pay special attention to? Are there any historical problems areas? Any suggestions would be great.

Make sure it's been given it's regular maintenance. I can't really think of anything else other than any normal things you would always look for when buying a used car. Buying a car like this you can be 99% certain it's been driven hard atleast once in awhile, which really isn't a big deal - as long as it's been taken care of.
Others may have something to add

Make sure you buy a Black one. Black SRT's are the fastest, superist, coolest, best lookingest, most quickerest of the bunch. :D I don't know if any of that is true.

nope the blue ones are faster...sorry to brake the news dude. Like I've said before the color makes it aerodynamic.
