I'm stickin wif 17x7 - gonna throw the stock tires (only 1900 miles on em) on for now and get rid of my stock rims. When I finish killing the stockers I'm going for 225.50.17's -or- the widest tire I can fit on a 7" rim.

35 mm offset

Also, within the next few weeks gonna throw some tint on my car and the wife's 350z - she still is saying no to rims and a super-charger right now, but I think when I get finished with mine she's gonna want more power in hers :D

I may not throw the rims on right away - the rims are actually 7.5 wide - not 7 - oops... so i don't know if the stock tires (205's) will fit on the 7.5 rim... ??? And i really don't want to get new tires when i haven't even killed these yet... they still have plenty of driving to go :(

Trying to call everywhere to see if they'll fit. some say yes and some say no... hmmm.

Finally... 205's on a 7.5 would be pushing the sidewalls to their limits by extending them... thus severely decreasing my handling. So I called wheelmax.com customer support, explained the situation and had them cancel my order. They are always great for taking care of their customers.... whew!

I'm not being cheap or nothing, i plan on going 225-235 when all is said and done, but my tires are still brand new, no sense in getting a new set when these r still ok. I'll just have to wait until I kill them for good!

Sigh.

Since I'm not getting the rims yet until my tires go dowhill, I'm having the wife call Modern Performance for me and order:

AGP Motor Mounts
AGP Trans Mount
DC Sports Front Strut Bar
DC Sports Rear Strut Bar
MPx Motor/Trans Bolts (stronger than stock)
MPx Plug Wire Heat Shield

Should let me launch hard from a dig without wheelhop and take some turns a little better.
